Choosing the right skip is not always easy. That’s why we have made it simple and listed all the options to help you decide.
4 YARD SKIP
Midi skip, convenient and economical low volume waste disposal. Perfect for small house, garage clearances. Smaller vehicles are available to fit most residential driveways.
8 YARD SKIP
Builders skip, the most common skip. Also available with a drop-down door and ideal for rubble, soils, garden waste and general waste disposal. Enclosed/lockable and crane able lifting skips also available.
14 YARD SKIP
14 yard skip suitable for lighter, bulkier waste not suitable for bricks or soil. Enclosed/lockable skips are also available.

One of the main reasons we fail to gain access to a location is because there are parked cars making the road narrower.
Our vehicles need at least 3.5m width on the road to pass-through. Otherwise, we won’t be able to make a collection or delivery.
Overhead obstacles such as trees or phone cables are often an overlooked hazard. We must ensure the height and reach of our vehicles won’t be impeded by tree branches or power lines.
If you live on a cul-de-sac or if the road you live on doesn’t have a through-route, you need to assess if there is enough turning space for our vehicles to manoeuvre.

Poor quality driveways could get damaged if they are not suitable for holding a skip. If you have manholes or drainage points, please ensure they are protected or they risk to collapse under the weight of a loaded skip.
Please bear in mind the size of the skip and whether it will pass through your gateway. Also, don’t forget to have the gate open on the day your skip is due to arrive or be collected.
If you share the driveway, it is good practice to consult with your neighbour before you book a skip. In the eventuality that you can’t use the driveway, we can help arrange for a permit from the local authorities to place the skip on the road.
